Training and experience
I studied for three years at Richmond College to gain my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. This course worked with many experiential as well as theoretical elements, which I found to be of great benefit in offering a fluid, integrative approach in therapy.
I have worked for over three years seeing clients at two separate, well-established counselling and psychotherapy agencies working with individuals of a wide variety of differing culture, age, class and circumstances. I have experience working with a very wide range of presenting issues for clients on NHS referrals through to private clients with very specific trauma rooted in the past and the present.
I currently work in a volunteer placement capacity as well as in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and hold full professional insurance.
